He hit a HUGE milestone when he quickly learned to ride a bike with no training wheels! He was riding less than 1/2 hour when he had to up the ante and ride in wood chips, grass, rocks, and asked how soon we could build a ramp for him to jump. One day later and he was doing wheelies, riding with one hand, and skidding. It's now been a week and he's jumping curbs and speed cycling. I really shouldn't be surprised! he is his fathers son.
That didn't take long!
SO PROUD OF HIMSELF! I don't think I've ever seen him so proud of himself. For days he'd tell anyone and I mean anyone, "I can ride my bike with No training wheels" he'd also say over and over "Can you bewieve I can ride my bike with no training wheels? or I can't bewieve I can ride my bike with no training wheels!"
The Olympics are in full effect so we had to get practicing! We are track town USA afterall. So off to the U of O track for some fun with buddies
I always thought Kellen was built for track, and Man can he jump!
shot put
Racing, WOW can that kid run!
At the beginning of summer Kellen earned his Yellow stripe. The first stripe on his belt. He was really excited and he's pretty sure he'll have a black belt in no time--he also tells me he may become "a Ninja after college!"
Way to go Kellen!
Since these pics taken in July we hit August on the ground running! Kellen has continued to blow our mind by teaching himself to swim under water for long periods of time & dive for objects. He's also gone to summer camp (by himself), and learned all kinds of tricks on our new trampoline. As if he doesn't keep us busy enough I'm spending my "free" time searching for Pre-K schools and getting ready for my new niece! What an exciting summer we've been having, no wonder it's going by so fast!
