4th of July was jam packed for the boys (Mommy was working). Josh went beyond expected daddy duties and started the day off early with a breakfast pot luck and uncle Jeremie's, then the harrisburg parade and activities (kellen got so much candy I got rid of 1/2 of it and he didnt even notice), then a BBQ at Grandma D's house, followed by fireworks at home with Mom and Dad! Kellen LOVES the 4th of July but what boy doesnt like candy and explosives?! Dylan is already 10months! I cant believe we are closing in on a year old!! Soon people wont refer to him as a baby (gulp!) and he'll enter wobbler or toddler status (sniff sniff). He's given up the army crawl for speed crawling and is pulling himself up on everything and "cruising" furniture. He still just has the 2 bottom teeth but right after his 10mo birthday he started getting 6 teeth at one time! OUCH. He's rolled with the punches pretty well though. He loves to bounce and he's constantly bouncing up and down on the floor, in the shopping cart, and especially the new trampoline. He's also decided upon a security item, unfortuntely it's mom's hair. It started several months ago when he'd hold onto it while nursing, then came the normal baby pulling, but now he likes to use it to sooth himself. He runs his chubby fingers through it, holds it, rubs it against his face when he's tired and sometimes even tries to suck on it. I've been trying to find a replacement but so far he's not budging. I may just have to cut all my hair off. lol. New foods he's into this month are fresh mozzarella, kix cereal, pumpkin bread, scrambbled eggs and chicken. Since hitting the hardcore teething he hasnt' been the piglet of an eater he usually is. And for some reaseon he has preffered store bought food to the usual mom made baby food. He's also wanting to feed himself! The most exciting new thing is he can say Mama and DaDa!!!
