Swimming

Kellen recently started swim lessons again and he loves it! He shivers nearly the whole time but you have to drag him out of the pool. He's always been a little water dog.  We have him signed up at Emerald park and couldn't be more happy with the program. There are 2 teachers and only 3-4 kids!  Kellen's made great strides, especially jumping under water and not caring about getting his head and face wet. Hooray! Washing his hair just got easier for mom!
With all the lessons we had to get out into the real water and enjoy some swimming and boating with Papa,GG, and uncle Chad. I honestly don't know how kids swim all day, it's exhausting! It was so nice for this momma to get out on the boat because the wind kept me cool and the water was so refreshing.  I was expecting to be more buoyant but apparently the big baby bump is more of an anchor!  Thank you so much to Papa and G. for taking the day off work so we could enjoy the lake all to ourselves. Plus it was awesome to be able to keep cool and kick my feet up while watching you play with Kellen. What a great day!!

First day of Tadpoles...waiting patiently for instructions
practicing kicking by seeing who can splash the teacher the most
As with everything Kellen does, he has to have all the appropriate gear or "suit" for the occasion

Driving Papa's boat--a major highlight for Kellen.  And yes, he was really driving it.
Swimming at fern ridge with Papa
WOW! swimming from the boat ALL the way to G.G.
 More driving with Uncle Chad.
Kellen loved to go in sharp circles and make big wakes, which almost made the rest of us motion sick :)

Learning to do Cannon balls off the boat and practicing going under water.
 Practicing making bubbles

I wanna do more cannon balls!! He would have done them for hours I think. (sorry for the sideways video, I'm techno challenged)
