This memorial weekend was a big celebration for us, over 3 years in the making. It was the first weekend that we took the sand rail to the sand, its finally, FINALLY, FINALLY finished! Josh started this project about the time I got pregnant with Kellen and now that it's finally running I'm pregnant again.

Kellen LOVES the sand rail, he wanted to go faster and kept saying "again, again" when Josh jumped it. He also likes to request wheelies. He'd laugh, Yahoo, clap, and give thumbs up the whole ride. I'm pretty sure it melted Josh's heart. Both boys were on cloud 9!

Baby and I got to enjoy a short, more leisurely ride on the flats. It actually felt really safe and smooth and I think I bounce more driving on a bumpy road in a regular car. Kellen has a serious need for speed and keeps requesting us to buy him and ATV. He's even picked out what kinda of paint he wants the plastic to have. I'm gonna try to discourage that for as long as I can and keep him in the sand rail. Because as Josh says "With age comes a cage" and I've seen enough kids in the ER for ATV accidents.
