Happy Halloween!

So so so excited for Trick or Treating!!!

OMG! Halloween is so much fun! Kellen had been looking forward to it for weeks if not longer. I think we got his costume in August because he wanted to be a "star wars robot guy" so bad! Since he picked out his costume early I had plenty of time to wardrobe his entourage. My mom, dad, sister, brother, and brother in law all went trick or treating with us. Kellen loved the fact that everyone dressed a star wars part. He talked about everyone's character for weeks and he wanted to make sure everyone had the appropriate accessories. IE) light sabers. He was also quite attached to his Darth Vader candy bucket and would go around the house "trick or treating" and putting treasures in his bucket. So cute! I just love the enthusiasm, it really takes me back and makes the holidays exciting for us too.

I have to admit I was a tinsy bit sad that this year I didn't get to pick out the costumes. Last year everyone went crazy over his Lion costume but I knew that it would be the last time he'd be something so adorable and baby-ish, we were fast approaching the very grown up and independent 3 years old and the land of super hero's, scary monsters, and all the other "BOY" things. None the less, we had a great time, got way to much candy (which is still in lock down in a hidden cupboard), and we are looking forward to the next big thing...November birthdays!
