Christmas catch up (its a long one)

December was a busy a month! we had several Christmas parties, Mom returned to work, we had to deck the hall, and of coarse we had 4 christmas'.  Kellen is so fun around the holidays, he really gets into decorating and he had a million questions about Santa this year.  The only thing he really wanted was a REAL four wheeler and he was quite sure that Santa would bring it.  I was able to convince him that unfortunately that would not be happening since Santa only brings toys. whew!  He decided to ask for "buck hunter" for the wii, since he didn't get it for his birthday. Dylan isn't old enough to understand Christmas but he did love the lights and all the stuff mom and Kellen had hung around the house! Luckily he had his big brother to enthusiastically open his presents for him and explain all of them and all about Christmas.
sometimes the Holiday's aren't always sugarplum faries and sugar cookies.  And if I'm gonna be completely honest this year some of the celebrations were a little...off. Maybe it was overly excited kids that didn't nap or grown ups that didn't agree, or constant running around.  But there were too things that were melt our hearts wonderful: Christmas morning with our own family of four and the announcement of my sisters pregnancy! hooray!! We also learned a valuable lesson, time to simplify the holidays.
