What to do on a rainy day...

Kellen's robot

"Acting" like a Robot, well his version anyway...

Sadly, at the end of summer we had a few days of rain. We made the best of it by splashing in puddles and doing arts and crafts inside. Our biggest craft for the day was making Kellen into a robot (his latest obsession). I wanted to spray paint his box silver or put duck tape on it, and had visions of cute knobs and buttons. However, Kellen did not share my enthusiasm for detail and was more interested in getting it done ASAP, he won.

I am so not ready for summer to end! It's so much easier to spend the day swimming, walking, playing in the park, sandbox, or doing any of the other "outside" activities! Sadly many of the classes we were going to take this fall have to be post-poned due to Kellen's broken arm.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the sun will come back for a few more weeks, if you don't hear from me then I'm probably hibernating in my cave, confused by the winter like weather.
