It's POTTY Time!!

Kellen has always done things on his own time schedule. It must be part of his stubborn, independent, strong willed personality. Whoever did he get that from ?! He started walking and talking at the later end of "normal", which makes mom's freak out because they want their child to be the first and best at everything deep down. I wasn't too worried about potty training since it's still a little early for boys and we just went through a major changes with starting preschool. I thought I'd just show him the potty and maybe sit him on it dressed every now and then. Well I was VERY pleasantly surprised when the first thing out of the gate he sat down and pee'd!!!! So I guess we started potty training! It's been about 2 weeks and He's hasn't had ANY accidents. He uses the potty for both 1 and 2. WOW!! On occasion he'll surprise me and want to go potty out in public--EWWW. I'm not quite ready to put him in underwear so he has a pull up for outings, and besides that he refused to potty when I request him to, like when we're leaving the house. So far the process has been a breeze, Kellen's pretty much taught himself. The other day he said he needed to pee so I ran to his potty and he wasn't there, I peeked into the bathroom and there he was propped up on the toilet by himself!-- yes that's my " MR. Independent!"
