Everyone knows I love champagne--one little bottle makes an instant celebration! My absolute favorite bottle of champagne is Veuve Clieqout, however with a $50+ price tag I rarely make the splurge. Everyone also knows I love a good deal, which brings me to the bottle in the picture... Veuve was on sale for $41.99. However, the person in charge of making sale signs must have been dyslexic because the sign clearly read $14.99!!!
The sales associate and manager nearly had a heart attack when I told them of the mistake but they honored the sign and gave me a bottle for the nearly free price of $14.99.
MMMMM it tasted even better than usual!
